I have served as a pastor now for almost 35 years and have never regretted one moment.  Sure, there were and still are difficult times, but all-in-all, my ministry continues to be filled with tremendous blessings and joy as I preach and serve my Lord.  There are many things about the pastorate that I enjoy.  I enjoy the daily studying and preparing for sermons.  I enjoy spending time with people, especially just sitting and talking over a cup of coffee.  I enjoy sitting in a counseling session and helping people work through their own difficulties.  It brings great joy and excitement when I see the Lord repair a marriage, or a broken life.  It really doesn’t get any better unless it is the joy of leading someone to the saving knowledge of Christ and witnessing a person being transformed from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of the Son of God’s love.
